      What does this mean?

I have problems remembering all of my dream. I can remember who was there, but I usually can't remember what happened. Does this mean I have a bad or a selective memory?

      Hello,

It just means you have bad dream recall. Try making a dream journal and write down any information that you can remember on your dreams, no matter how small or pointless. After a while your recall will jump up.

For most of my life I assumed I either didn't dream or couldn't remember them - but as soon as I kept a journal I started remembering at least one and usually several per night. Sometimes they're very clear and lengthy, other times just brief snippets of locations or scenarios.

Believe me, if I got to the point where I can remember them, you can too.
