Talking My first short Lucid Dream + floating out of window

      WOW, that was cool!

After trying to stay aware during my sleep paralysis (which failed again, but at later state I've ever achieved) I got a real lucid dream using WBTB

It started quite strange, from some kind of false awakening. I heard my phone ring and put it in my hand so I felt the vibrations (dreaming, not irl). Then I felt myself falling asleep again and waking up with my mother sitting next to me. I felt a bit awake and looked at my hand. I was already a bit aware this was a dream, so I was totally not surprised that I only had 3 fingers. I gave my mother a hug, but closed my eyes doing this and dream was gone.

Now I woke up again, with my boyfriend in my room. He looked a bit funny and didn't want to believe I had an LD when I told him. I wanted to get away from him, but he stood in the way, trying to prevent me to. Then i thought 'hey, it's my dream, I can fly if I want to. So I put my head through window without opening it and looked down. The view was really amazing, so clear and colorfull! (strange feeling by the way, putting your head through glass )

It was about 3 floors high, so I decided I could fly down if I went slow, staying close to the wall. My boyfriend didn't want to let me go, so I held on to the wall, being still inside the window with 1 leg and arm and started floating down. When my right foot was only a few meters above the ground, I realised I was still holding the wall with half of my body. I decided to let go, but then I fell and woke up

      Well, that's what I thought...

I tried to stay asleep, getting another dream like this, but while I had my eyes shut as hard as I could, I could still see everything around me. My bf took me to a terace where we had breakfast or so. He was carrying a large cello and put that on the chair between us :S His friends arrived. They were all eating a large bag of M&M's while I was trying to fall asleep again.

Then the waiter arrived, he took away the salt and pepper which they didn't need for their M&M breakfast and that time I really woke up.

      Pfew, bit long story :-)
It was so funny waking up from a dream, discovering it was still a dream. Too bad it didn't work the third time. I really hope this experience will make it easier to have a next lucid dream!

Oh, is that so? I didn't realise... just thought it would be normal, if you know you're dreaming, you can do what's in your mind, as long as you create a strong image. Or maybe I was dreaming that I had control, while actually my dream just went the way I wanted? (or is that having control, since the dream is something of your own imagination.) I don't really know, but it is extremely fascinating.

I'll go and look around on the forum again to find information about it :-)

Edit: oops, I just found out that dreamviews is not just a forum, there is a large information site too!

Congratulations! That's exciting--first lucid! Good job.

I see you discovered the tutorials. With practice, the dreams will last longer and you will have even more control.
