      Finally.....success

      Greetings,
I have just returned from a business trip and was gone for four days. While away, I had a dream one night that I was in an airport and two females came up to me and started talking to me. I remember saying to myself "I must be dreaming" and did the nose pinch RT as well as a text test. Both of them indicated I wasn't dreaming. Kind of bewildering as those were the primary RT's I have been practicing with.
The next night, I had a dream I was in an Old West town. Out of nowhere it occurred to me I was dreaming. I didn't do any kind of RT, I just knew I was dreaming. I remember looking at my hands and remaining calm (as I had practiced) and I remember saying "Clarity" out loud and things becoming more vivid immediately. It was kinda like going from normal to HD dreaming. I wasn't lucid long, as I went into a non lucid period of the dream, but I was definitely lucid. I hope that will serve as "breaking the seal" and that I can look forward to more LD's soon. BTW, both dreams occurred after my WBTB.
Dream Big, Live Large.... BTW, can you breath with your nose pinched shut?

Well done. It sounds like you've found a method that works for you. To be honest, I think this is a stroke of good luck, don't expect good LD's like these every night, and don't get frustrated if you find yourself in a rut-dry spell...know that they will return with relaxation and calm determination. Anyway. I hope it keeps up! I'm sure it will though and that you'll gradually improve.

Congratulations on the ld, its also called a rc, not rt, I'm not trying to be mean about it, just helping you. Hopefully, you will have many more lucid dreams after this. I have one question though, do you keep a dream journal?

      ^Probably
