Hey everyone!

Just found this place a couple of days ago and I have to say, awesome forum! I guess a brief introduction is in order.

I'm 23 years old, and currently living in Singapore. I spent about half my life living in the states (Kansas. Did my undergrad and masters there, don't ask). I've only ever had 1 spontaneous lucid dream my entire life, back when I was 13. I tried explaining the dream to my friends, how I could completely control and manipulate the environment to my will and they all looked at me like I was retarded. I had absolutely no clue what the phenomena was called, and back in 1997 Google didn't exist so I forgot about the whole thing.

Thankfully, 4 years ago I stumbled upon "discovering the world of lucid dreaming" by stephen lebarge and realized lucid dreaming wasn't a complete figment of my imagination, after all. Since then I've been reading about lucid dreaming on and off, but never really putting the techniques into practice.

Its only recently (1 month ago, to be precise) I've made a commitment to really make an effort to attain lucidity. I think I'm getting close. Just last week I had a semi-lucid dream where I realized I was dreaming, but couldn't hold on to lucidity for long enough. Still, its progress!

That's all for now. Looking forward to many months of fruitful discussions with you guys.
