Thread: Ahoy

Hi, first post.
I'm a university student right now, and I just started reading EWLD.

I've always been really into dreams, I can remember some really fun and significant ones from years back. I have always had excellent dream recall, and have been having lucid dreams since I was seven or so. The earliest experience I remember is having a (possibly recurring) nightmare being chased The Crow, in front of some cemetery gates, and actively telling myself to recognize the imagery, and then replace it with better things when it came up.

I have somewhere around two or three lucid dreams a week, more if I get reasonable amounts of sleep, or actively try to induce them. I usually recognize a dream, but more or less stay an observer. I've only done the flying thing a handful of times, and only done more extreme things like changing dream characters and locations instantaneously, and controlling dream characters once that I can remember.

I'm just looking for somewhere to share experiences, and read about other people's really, and maybe get some tips and tricks from the pros. Seems like a rad place, looking forward to meeting you all.

Oh, yeah, as far as things about me that aren't dream related, I like all nerdy pursuits, books, gaming(primarily on the wii right now), comics, movies, and all that good stuff. My taste in music is as eclectic as they come, but I definitely enjoy me some metal.
