      Namaste

I go by Quester. I am new here obviously. I have been trying dream recall and lucid dream control for about 4 years now with very little success. I did have a breakthrough the other night and will write about that in a different post. This seems to a wonderful place and I hope to be abel to post positive things in the future.

      Welcome to Dream Views.

I love peace and flowers. I also love hippies. Are you a fan of lava-lamps and tye-dye shirts?

Why did you choose that username?

Thanks for the welcome one and all.
Yes, lava lamps and tye dyed t's. The name Quester is a name I have had for many years. It is referring to "the never ending quest." Which we all are on. Consciousness expansion never ends in this mortal plane.

What about brain damage victims who lose their memory?

      *Nudge nudge* Welcome to DV.

      What do you mean?

You said that consciousness is ever expanding, however, the problem is that it is directly correlated (if not caused) by our brains functionality. If our memories are biologically tampered with (ie. brain damage) we lose the ability to conceive some things.

      What do you think...?

PS: I am glad I can get you to open up in discussion.

Hmm how can I explain this. First off I am a believer in life after death. If you don't then this will sound like ludicrous mythology. The part of us that is immortal is what expands. I have know a good many people that have had brain problems from mild retardation to full blown autism.
I find that they may never learn to drive or have any analytical process that we are familiar with but may be more in tune with the cosmic divine. Whatever that is in the mind of the person hearing. This seems to be born out with the new research and discoveries in Quantum physics/mechanics and dark energy/matter.

P.S. I love discussions. Even when I am proven wrong. That means I am learning.

I like your attitude. I would be interested in reading an elaboration on this if you'd like to share in philosophy/religion/or extended discussion..?
