Hello everyone. I'm also new at this place and I'm on my first week of LD try outs. But in my short time experience I must agree entirely with OpheliaBlue. Usually I would recall 1 or 2 dreams per night. Since I have started the dream journal the amount of dreams recalled increased drastically and tonight I recalled 9 different dreams Some with more detail and others with less but even so it's a big step. I guess different people have different sensibilities and the most efective technique it's not the same to everyone, but I would have to think that the dream journal is a "must" in order to achieve LD. Anyway, just my 2 cents. Nice dreams.

Heya Welcome to Dream Views!!!! It's great to have you here and so exciting to hear that you are having success!!!! 9 dreams in a night is KICK ASS! Were they confusing to write down in the morning or did you wake up after each one... eek that would be a lot of not sleeping! Anyway WELCOME!!!! Sweet Dreams!!!

Actually I woke up 3 times this night. But everytime I woke up I would write everything down so I wouldn't forget. Also my dreams are usual not very long. Either that or I do not remember the whole legth of them. I have had some LD but it was in a time when I didn't even knew that it was LD. I would just gain awareness that it was a dream but that was all, I never experienced any type of control over it. So now that I've entered this world of knowledge with this great forum of "yours" I'm really determined in having LD and be able to gain control over them. I have som many ideias I would like to try...eheh! Anyway, thanks for all your support so far and for making everyone here fell that there's someone we can count on for help when we need it. It's really awsome! Sweet Dreams!

Now that I know what they were i know i have been having them for a long time. It will only get better when you practice and do what you are doing!!! keep up the journaling and feel free to share your dreams with us. I for one would love to hear about them!!
