      Question Hi everyobdy!

Hi everyobdy, im 20 and I live in London.
I heard about lucid dreaming earlier this year in a psychology class, so I decided to investigate further. Its strange because it such a interesting subject, and yet its relatively unheard of.
I've probably had 10-20 lucid dreams. So im moderatley experienced, yet I have many questions:

Do you people find that lucidity is more often obtained spontaneously, and not via a reality check? (DILD)
Do you think that WILDing is the most annoying thing on earth?
What do you think is the best way to become lucid? What method gives the best dreams? And what method is the easiest?

Certainly not spontaneously! Unless you are a "natural"...
Do you think that WILDing is the most annoying thing on earth?
I can think of more annoying things. Some people have great success with WILDs.

What do you think is the best way to become lucid? What method gives the best dreams? And what method is the easiest?
      Best = very subjective.
Easiest = seems to be WBTB + MILD for many people, including RCs during the day!

      Welcome!

Here are my personal answers to your queries:

      a) At first I had a lot more lucids by DILD. Then spontaneous lucids seemed to rule. Lately I've been having more success with WILD than anything else.

      b) Not at all. I know two different WILD techniques though... and the one that requires concentrating on HI and then slipping into the dream IS almost impossible for me. I use a version of Clairity's technique, with pretty good success. (You'll find her WILD technique covered in the Tutorials.)

      c) Anything that works, and that will vary by individual. I'm always exploring. Right now WILD is the most reliable induction for me. The best overall lucids I've had have been spontaneous, but I've had some great ones using all different methods.

      d) Spontaneous seems to be the best so far. I think that is going to change with more experience, practice and discipline.

      e) Spontaneous certainly is easiest. DILD comes next, as anybody can keep a DJ and learn to do RCs when they experience dream signs. WILD requires discipline and effort and is naturally more difficult, but it is well worth mastering. I understand that Dream Yoga is the absolute most difficult, but yields the greatest rewards.

      Welcome to Dream Views.
      Have fun investigating lucid dreaming.

      In answer to your questions:

1-I think most people after learning of lucid dreaming, reality check

2- WILDing is annoying until you experience it the first time. Then it's the most amazing thing ever.

3- Best way to become lucid is using the Wake Back To Bed method.
I like Dream Induced Lucid Dreams best since I go with the flow of the dream without getting too analytical
Again, Wake Back To Bed had my vote for being the easiest way to become lucid, WILD or DILD.
