Exclamation Ok i need some help here..

Well i've read almost everything here and i still don't get it.
In almost all my dreams, i realize im dreaming but i don't do anything about it because i didn't know i could. I've been lucid twice when i was little but i didnt realize i was controlling my dreams
      1. i was dreaming in my dream, and in the dream in my dream there was this giant flood and somehow the room next to me was filled with water. so in the dream i woke up, forced myself out of the bed walked over and opened the door. then i woke up

and like a little while ago someone was calling my phone and im usually watching myself in my dream like a movie and myself in the dream takes out her phone (my phone) and she goes, "Wait a minute, I must be dreaming!" Then i wake up and pick up my phone. I dont know how to switch from 3rd person POV to 1rst person POV. and last night i tried to, but i can't remember my dream and i don't think i dreamt.
I dont have a clue what WILD-ing is at all and i just want to be able to control my dreams, like fly or have my boyfriend be in my dream. Ive flown before but i don't think i was controlling it.
HELP ME ATTAIN LUCIDITY i have no clue how to do it!

One, lucidity is simply knowing you're dreaming, control is not lucidity.

Since you have no problem with lucidity, you can work on control. There are no techniques to do certain things, be it summoning dream characters, objects or whatever. You just have to remind yourself that you're in a dream, and you can do anything.

      Good luck!

wel... firstly, as for help attaining lucidity.. if you follow a lucidity tutorial (I'd suggest BillyBob's, as that's what I used) you should be fine. You have to be honest with yourself, and commit to doing it. The tutorials can be found in the tutorial section of the forum. After you familiarize yourself with terms we use on this forum, you can also go to the sections attaining lucidity/dream control to learn various methods/tips that can be more detailed to your need. As for you always knowing that you're dreaming while in a dream, that's not entirely lucidity. Lucidity is becoming aware that you're dreaming and be fully conscious and logical. Before you can jump into things like flying and summoning your boyfriend, you need to learn more about lucidity in general, and then focus on your dream recall/dream journal. Then eventually it will all fall into place, and you will start to have lucids often, and you can do whatever you want! Best of luck to you!

hmm...it may also help you to do reality checks (hell, do a few!), even though you "know" you are dreaming already. This may help develop your awareness and confirm that you are free to take control.

It is similarly important for you to stop what you were doing. Do something to stabilise the dream (ie, rubbing your hands)...and start doing what you want. Don't continue the current story...or you may loose lucidity (unless you are enjoying it!)

and yes, explore the dream control section for hints.

      see ya
