Am I almost Lucid?

Hi, Im new to Dream Views but I am insainly interested in lucid dreaming and becomming god of my dreams I have been attempting lucid dreams pretty much everynight , And im probabbly going to attempt a WILD tonight but i need to know if im on the right track... The second night i had attempted a lucid dream i was counting down from 100 I had got to about 23 and i heard a telephone ringing... (not sure if it was actually a telephone ring but it best describes the sound) it scared me a bit because it came out of nowhere and the noise was quite clear (I could actually feel/hear that the noise came from like the center of my head). I just kept counting down and the ringing stopped after about 4 rings. After i got to zero i felt sleepy but excited from the phone ring. I think i fell asleep for a quick second because when i realised i was dozing off my body all of a sudden tried to change possition and succeeded(body testing brain if its asleep) i was very angry that i forgot i was trying not to move and just went to bed after that. I just want to know if that phone ring was normal because it startled me. i remember having a bit of that random color hallucination too [EDIT]: I also forgot to mention somthing weird. after i got to zero and sometime before i fell asleep my body was shaking badly, not like a cold shake, but the inside of me felt like it was shaking so it felt like i was almsot vibrating or somthing. It was extremely uncomforitable and I wanted it to stop so i moved my body a bit till it went away. Was that supposed to happen or was that just me nerviously shaking?

Am I almost lucid? yes. sounds like you experienced Hypnogia (sound/image hallucinations)...which are the pre-cursors to entering a dream. I am no WILDer, so maybe someone else can share something; but you have definately made good progress towards a succesful lucid dream!
