      Not sure :S

Well, hey there, I'm 13 years old and for the last couple of days I've been having some bizzare experiences while dreaming. I don't really know anything about dreaming or controlling dreams, since I've only been reading about this for exactly a half hour. But, almost every night, I seem to have some dream where I am aware of things I did the day before, and I remember stuff I got scheduled for a week from now, etc. In other words, I got perfect control of myself - BUT - I never know im dreaming untill I wake up the next day ... Anyways, since its summer I pretty much have a lot of time to read about this stuff, and I would love to start controling my dreams, the idea seems exciting. Any tips, or ideas on how to make these dreams I've been getting lucid would be appreciated

      Welcome again!

I'd say that your mind is playing tricks with you. To be truly aware and lucid you have to realize that you are dreaming.

Yeah, I've read that much ...the thing is, something really weird could happen on my dream, and I would think "hey, that's not really normal," but somehow I just let that go and not realize its a dream.

Yeah, everyone does that, it's normal. It's because we grow up not learning to question reality, so even when something bizzare happens in our waking life we usually never ask "is this real?/am I dreaming?" (unless your practicing reality checks, which you'll learn about if you continue reading )

      BTW, welcome

^^ LoL...it was pretty hillarious. I remember in the dream I was just showing it to my friends like "hey look at that squirrel it's rollin' up a J!" But I never stopped myself to think..."Hey can a squirrel really do that?" When I woke up, surprisingly I remembered the dream crystal clear, I was surprised because this was my first attempt at concentrating at remembering a dream before going to sleep 8)
