Thread: time to start practicing reality checks?

Ok, sometime last week, I had a dream where I was at my friend's house, and I spent the night. When I woke up, I was dream journaling... ok that was odd...

I've only been actually dream journaling for about 2 weeks too, so do you think I should start practicing RCs? It seems like it'll be easy for those to start happening in my dreams, if journaling has too.

Sure, go ahead, experiment with whatever you want to do, you dont need our approval. Remember, LD'ing is not exact science, you have to figure the stuff out yourself, what works for others, might not work for you, so all you can really do is take note of interesting techniques here and see if they will work. So I suggest you should try it!

Seriously though... you need to find what works for you
For example the only WILD (wake induced) lucid dream I ever got right was with non-traditional (if traditional actually exists) methods.
I used self-hypnosis to get part-way there.

It's really about experimenting. Consider your strengths and weaknesses and find a technique that you believe might work
