it's odd, because i was about to ask about that too.

i only just found out about lucid dreaming today, and the more i read about it, the more i realised that i had experienced it many times before. more often than not, i realise i am in a dream, and i am able to wake myself up if the dream is frightening. i have also experimented with changing my dreams [with limited success]. i can remember having lucid dreams in primary school.

i always just assumed that lucid dreaming was the same for everyone ; occasionally you would be conscious that it was a dream, and sometimes it would be out of your control. but apparently not everybody has experienced a lucid dream at all. i'm really interested in learning how to make these dreams occur more frequently ; i haven't experimented with them fully yet.
