      Newbie's question to you dreamknights

Hello, just found this amazing site/Forum, i got a question, (i dont know where to put this post so i put it here as i am a noob)
Many times when i dream about that im chaising someone or fighting for life, my movment gets slowed, for exempel when im chaising someone the person who's running still have same movment speed but mine just get slowed down, i cant do anything and i get exhausted, and when i fight against someone my fists gets heavy and slow and i also get exhausted. Really weird feeling i hate it also, anyways anyone else experienced this feeling/dream?

      Anyways, Hi

Hi and welcome to Dream Views.

I used to get that a lot. I've read of many others experiencing it as well. I think as your dream recall and appreciation gets better those experiences eventually lessen and then disappear. Mine did.

I read somewhere that the slowed running could be due to the weight of your blanket on your legs as you sleep, and that the slow and ineffective swinging of fists is due to a person sleeping with his/her hands under something or in an odd position. Not sure if it's true but it was a fact I picked up somewhere along the way.

Cool, sounds pretty true, i have never really cared about my dreams but after accidently read one of this forums thread i keep on looking for information and wanting more dreaming experience. I cant wait to sleep more dreams !
      *edit*

I jot down my recalled dreams as soon as I wake up. If I wait too long then they disappear on me as well.

I keep a book and pen or pencil right by my bed. When I wake up I jot down a few of the most prominent parts of any recalled dreams. I shower, eat, etc and then go back to that book later and write them out the dreams in full when I have the time.

You could try a recorder, wake up and dictate your dreams into it instead of writing them out.
