alright.. dreamsings... not sure about it

hello , ive had lots of lucid dreams , BAD one's , but ive had some great fun good ones , but i just become lucid , i just think "nah this isnt right , i must be dreaming"

i also have lots and lots of dreams , and i can remember them clearly when i wake up , but i dont understand the idea of dream signs... if i did understand , i think i could result in much more lucid dreams , since i have plenty and plenty of dreams each night and can remember them very well

I don't usually call them "dream signs" myself, but since it's the term folks around here like to use, I'll go with it.

Dream signs are generally anything out of the ordinary, from the improbable to the impossible that might clue a dreamer into the fact that he or she is dreaming.

On a more personal level, if we inspect our own dreams, we'll usually find certain things that happen with some frequency that, if we stopped to think about it during a dream, would tell us we are dreaming.

So if you inspect our dreams and identify several of these improbabilities/impossibilities that happen to you frequently, you should start training yourself to say, "hey, waitaminit..."

For instance, If I'm running down the street without my pants on, I gotta figure one of two things is happening. 1) I've been into the tequila again, or 2) I'm dreaming.

8Dhaha, dreams signs can also be ordinary things, places or people that appear in the majority of your dreams.. sort of a recurring theme or cast.

the idea is that if you see your dream signs in real life.. you should think "I'm dreaming" and then do a reality check to verify either that you are or are not dreaming. This way hopefully if you should see your dream signs while sleeping/dreaming, you will be conditioned to do a "verifying" reality check.

Here is my own personal example. See if it helps.

When I first learned about dream signs I decided to use "loose teeth" as a dream sign. I would regularly have dreams where I had loose teeth. So I kept telling myself that the next time I found that I had loose teeth that I needed to become lucid because it meant that I was dreaming. And, sure enough, I had my first lucid dream becasue I was able to recognize that "loose teeth = dream".
