      Hi xD

      Hey Everyone,

Im new to Dream Views and Lucid Dreaming and all that. I joined 2 nights ago. Ive been trying to get my recall better before i attempt lucidity. I usually never remember my dreams but the first night i tried i remembered 2 so that was good. Im keeping a dream journal too so thats helping. I only remembered one last night though. The first night's second dream was wierd. It was basically one large FA. I woke up and started writing three dreams down in my journal next to where i was sleeping and then went back to sleep. Then i really woke up an hour or two later and looked at my journal and there was only one dream there so i realized that whole thing was just a dream and wrote it down.

I still havent noticed any dream signs while im dreaming but its only been two nights so hopefully they will come soon. I need to start getting in the habit of doing reality checks in real life more than i do now so it becomes second nature so i will do them in my dreams. I only do RC's on occassion cuz i usually forget to do them but im working on that too so ya.

If anyone has any suggestions on how to improve on anything im doing or want to say anything feel free to reply

      Nick

      Welcome Nick!

That's great that you've already started a dream journal. Keeping a dream journal has really helped me.

And that's funny about you having the False Awakening and writing down your dreams. I think that happens to a lot of us that keep a journal.

Sounds like you have a good start. If you haven't yet, check out the Quick Start Guide at the top of this Newbie forum. It has a lot of good info about this site, including a link to the tutorials.

      Good luck.

Nick, I'm glad you decided to join us.

Your dream signs will become more apparent the more dreams you recall/record.

Along with the Quick Start Guide, you might also want to check out the Tutorials forum which contains information on the various lucid dreaming techniques and other helpful information: http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...splay.php?f=25.

If you should have any questions, please ask and we'll do our best to get you answers.

      Welcome to Dream Views!

Try to think about LD as much as possible!! In my opinion keeping your mind thinking about LD (especially before you go to bed) helps a lot!! The only times I had LDs was after reading a lot about it...

      :Welcome:

I write down my dreams in FAs all the time, it's really annoying.

Yea, I do that too--but I actually think it helps me remember them when I finally wake up for real.

Nick, doing a reality check whenever you wake up can help you to recognize those FA's and become lucid.
