Hi DV people I am really new to this whole LDing thing and was wondering if my tv (I leave it on to drown out the noise of the highway I live next to) would be interfering with me being able to become lucid? |

I would go even further and say that the TV could actually help you become lucid. Normally, when you're deep in sleep, you won't be aware of outside noises. But every now and then something can creep in. The sound of a television program might trigger within you the memory that you went to sleep, and that the TV is on in real life. This could be an excellent way to become lucid. |

Thank you guys for your answers. I will try listening to mp3's about lucid dreaming and see if that works. Once again thank you. |

Nope, not if you're used to it. I would recommend the Subliminal Lucid MP4 version 3.0 that I made. It's nice and relaxing and should cover up traffic nicely. |

I'm with Skysaw on this one. The TV can be a hindrance, but I had a lucid dreams last Friday evening that was assisted by the TV. |

I leave my TV on also. Usually it just influences my dream. Whatever show or whatever is being talked about ends up in my dream with my DCs |
