For how long have you tried?

It might not be a good idea to try lots of different techniques, but rather stick with one for a while. Patience is important.

Lucid dreaming is not something that can be learnt over night. Some people are lucky enough to pick it up right away, but in most cases it takes some time. How long have you been trying, and when you WBTB how long do you stay awake for and after how many hours sleep do you wake up?

Haha im having the same problems but its just because i havent gotten as experienced yet. Make sure you have good recall. If you havent, start making a dream journal about all your regular dreams until you can start to remember most of them. Make sure you do reality checks whenever you wake up too incase you have a false awakining. But dont worry if you havent had a lucid dream yet, it usually takes a while unless your really talented.

" For how long have you tried? "
ok i've been trying since the begining of february, although i've already tried it when i was younger about 4-5 years ago.

"when you WBTB how long do you stay awake for and after how many hours sleep do you wake up?"
when i use WBTB i say awake for one hour and then i go back to sleep in that hour i whatch something to get my imagination going. i don't know i ususally sleep 4-10 hours and if i don't set my alarm i only wake up in the morning (sometimes afternoon )

"start making a dream journal about all your regular dreams until you can start to remember most of them. Make sure you do reality checks whenever you wake up too"
I have a dream journal here in the forum and about the RCs i do then whenever i remember to do them mainly when i'm waiting for the bus or train and i can't seem to get it right sometimes i press my thumb nail against another finger and see if it hurts, sometimes i look or read text/time when i'm at home i plug my nose to see if i can breathe, sometimes i just think "am i dreaming" then i try to falsify that thought, would it be too many diferent RCs?

yeah; if you have only recently started attempting LDs...well it may be better to focus on the basics...or atleast focussing on fewer things, to build a discipline.

      I reckon work on
-Reality Checking habits. (not just, RCs but making sure you are more observant and critical
      -Dream Journalling
-Autosuggestion before bed(maybe about remembering to check reality, or that you are dreaming)

Leave WBTB for a little while. Maybe try again in a few weeks if you are game, because its hard to succeed with effort spread everywhere.

      Quality LD's: 16
