First lucid dream

Ok i only found out about lucid dreaming yesterday after stumbling across this website and ld4all.com. I have to say i was somewhat sceptical until i had a lucid dream last night, on my first try!! It started off i was dreaming that i was on my PC looking at lucid dreaming websites when i remembered about reality checks. So sure enough, i read some text and looked away, and when i looked back the text had changed completely. Then it hit me, that i must be dreaming. I got really excited and opened my room window, i was a little nervous about jumping out as i was pretty high up but i kept telling myself "it's ok its just a dream, im sleeping safely in bed" so i leapt off and flew over my hometown. All i can say is WOW. I can't believe how euphoric and REAL the feeling was!! then i flew higher and everything went dark and i woke up with a huge smile on my face! Now im extemely interested in doing this again, its like a whole other world now i know what all the hype is about

By the way im new here, anyway has anyone else had a lucid dream on the first try?? i didnt do any method either i just fell asleep with the intention to do reality checks i definately wasn't expecting one so it really took my surprise. just to add again, wow.

Hahah yea wow is definitely the right word. I still havent had one after a week or two. Thats a good accomplishment to be able to do it on your first try. Good Job xD and welcome to the site.

thanks nick, I could actully feel the wind brushin against me and had perfect clarity of vision, freaky.. when i told my freinds though they just think im crazy LOL but at least i know its real now thats what matters
