Practice makes perfect. Don't start EXPECTING to wake up because your first try caused you to. Your mind will gradually get more comfortable with LDing and you'll grow to love it, hopefully. Good luck!

      Welcome to the forum!

Well you get lucid which is great! No matter what don't feel unhappy, you have gotten past that milestone that many people try to achieve.

Now you need to work on staying in the dream, there are quite a few stabalising techniques that you could try, such as rubbing your hands of doing RCs while in the dreams. Infat after realising that you are dreaming, you could just try to take in your surroundings and concentrate on staying lucid.

The most important thing to do is to stay calm and try to not get excited!

Did this happen when you laid down first thing at night to go to sleep? If so, know that it's harder to have a lucid dream at that time.

I get that a lot when I first lay down for core sleep. A handful of times I'll realize that I've started to dream and at that exact moment I wake back up. It's best to just try get to sleep and wake up again after at least 4 hours, then try to have a lucid dream.

Wow your lucky. I have lucid dreams but only once every 5 months. I don't remember most of my dreams.
