Hey that's not that bad. Dream recall isn't the most reliable thing after all. What kind of techniques are you using right now? If you tell us more we'll try to help you out.

      Welcome to the forum!

If your recall sucks you might want to make a dream journal. Just find a notepad or random book and jot down anything that you can remember from the night before. It can be anything from people, events, locations and emotions. You can even use self-suggestion and make yourself wake up after each dream. Don't worry about being tired if doing this though as you can just write down keywords and then write out the dream later in the morning after looking at the key words.

Dream journals also help out with recognizing dream signs too! Any common occurance in a dream can be a dream sign.

Hope this helps out and good luck!

A fairly regular wake up and bedtime can help too.

      Welcome to Dream Views.
Good luck with your dream recall.

Dream Recall is, more than most people think, a confidence thing. While I wasn't involved in Lucid Dreaming, I had very bad recall and barely recalled let's say three dreams a week. Now, that I came to lucid dreaming and thereby built a stronger relation to my dreams, I recall four dreams a night and I did that also before starting to use any techniques. Really, just get involved with recall and dreaming and you'll recall a whole lot of dreams already.

      Hey, welcome to the forum

Another good thing to try with recall rather than getting out of bed when you wake up is to stay in bed, with your eys shut and try recall any dreams you can and play them over in your mind. Usually when we get up our first thoughts are on our tasks for the day, which can often cloud our dream recal.

How is your older brother bugging you about dreams? Don't worry, it'll come slowly at first, but then will happen all at once.

You could put itchy powder in his blankets

      Who said that?

If you're afraid of your brother finding your dream journal, you can start one online: http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...splay.php?f=26. It's highly unlikely he'll find it there.

If he gives you any trouble about this dreaming stuff, ask him if he'd like to be in a completely real-feeling world where you can control absolutely everything.

      Welcome to Dreamviews!

Give it some time... it can take a week or two before you start seeing major improvements.
