      Ewld

Exploring the world of lucid dreaming by Stephen Laberge(or something) I know that of a lot people on this forum have this book and was wondering if it is a worthy buy, or on the flip side that most of the information is in the tutorials and in other sections of the forum.

The background information and the information on psychology is well worth the read. That type of stuff is not in the tutorial section.

Definately buy it.. I almost feel that to truly understand lucid dreaming you have to read ETWOLD.

Like everyone else has said, definitely worth the read.

I'm real bad at reading a book from start to finish, but I've read different parts of the book and it gives so much insight.

The only problem I have with it is that I wish there was a hard-back version so that it would look nicer. With all the amazing information that there is in the book and how close to home it is to me, I would buy a silk-page, gold-plated, hand-written, personally signed version of the book if there was one.

It's definitly worth it to read, it goes into pretty much every aspect of a lucid dream and every way that it could be done (ofcourse not too deeply) it even has the tactile bicycle technique I use, but forgot which page it's on, I still see things in there I think could be expanded apon and made into techniques used more often.

Read it, and your dry spell will magically disappear.

Ive seen it under psychology (which is where it belongs) and under "metaphysical studies" (next to books about astral projection and reading auras, whatever the hell that is).

When I bought mine, it was under self help.

If you can't find it, just ask someone in the front desk and they'll help you out. You could even use your feminine charm to lure them into lucid dreaming.

Oh, and the book is by Stephen LaBerge if you didn't already know.

btw-it was also in my stores "self help" section

      Awesome!

I'm glad you found the book. It was meant to be... lucid dream fate if you will.

You're in for an journey, you'll love that book. I love reading it, but I'm such a horribly slow reader and get distracted really easily. I still love reading a couple of pages at a time of the book.

It has some amazing insights, and I wouldn't be surprised if you started getting more lucid dreams just by reading that book.

thats funny that u say that, while i didnt get lucid, being new to this, ive been working on recall... anyway, after reading the first 30 pages and going to sleep, i woke up 5 times (once after each rem cycle) and recorded anchors that i could flesh out in the morning.
i also totally believe i was fated to get into lucid dreaming b/c 1. i hear about LDing from a friend who recommends Waking Life and realise that i have attained lucidity before, but didnt know it was a power that could be harnessed 2. i look up LDing in wikipedia which eventually leads me here 3. i find the last copy of etwold at b&n
or maybe its just the laws of attracion, ne one ever read The Secret?
