LD lingo?

hi everyone i am new to the whole lucid dream experience. i heard about lucid dreaming from a show on the discovery channel about the human body, mind, etc. it got me very excited to try it out so i found this site and read a bunch of stuff and actually had a short lived lucid dream that same night. awesome. anyways my question is i have noticed a lot of "LD's" which i got means lucid dream's. i was just wondering if someone can help me out here because there are a few i do not understand and have looked up like "wild" and "SP" and "RC's" i'm picking up on this but i was just wondering if someone can post up a list of all of them and what they mean, or maybe someone has a link to an older post that has already done this or something? or do i just have to be cool and pick it up as i go along? thanks -kevin

First of all, Welcome to DV! (Dreamviews, LOL). RC: Reality Check. (Where you check if you're dreaming or awake). SP: Sleep Paralysis. (Where you get paralysed during your dreams so you don't act them out). WILD: Wake Induced Lucid Dream. (There are a bunch of WILD techniques on this site. Head over to the tutorials section). Basically anything with 'ILD' on the end is a Lucid Dream induction technique. EDIT: I clicked add reply when nobody had replied and when I post it I get beaten. Twice! :O

i will try to have a LD tonight, and in my dream, i will post something on this forum, and when i wake up i'll see if it is posted, and if it is then i will do an RC which will more then likely prove that i am having an FA. haha picking up on it already. sweet!
