      What's Up

Just introducing myself. I stumbled in here looking for lucid dream info. Some of the conversations are really interesting and everyone seems polite. Keep up the good work.

As for dreaming, I've had dozens of lucent dreams since I was a child, but have not WILDed (is that a term?). I have hallucinated before though. I went too long without sleep, I really got into deep thought and then everything came together. Everything made sense and it felt like I was floating out of my body. I could see how everything related in shocking detail. Then things slowed to stop, I hovered where it felt like I could choose between going back to my body or going to heaven (and I didn't even believe in heaven at the time). Because I didn't know where I was going, I decided to return. I didn't know if I would be able to return if I left. Now, I kind of regret the choice. However, when I returned everything was in super-high resolution. I could saw every crack on people's faces, the detailed texture of every surface, heard every sound in the room, and some things that were just weird. I could also solve problems really fast, but it seemed like such a burden to have to translate ideas into English for others. After weeks had past, it faded off a lot. I welcomed the return to fuzziness.

Anyway, greetings fuzzy and prickly dreamers alike.

Sounds like you did have a WILD to me.

Yep, WILDed is the correct term - and it sounds like you did indeed WILD. Congratulations.

      And welcome to the forum!

Well, it certainly was wild. But does it still count if you never go unconscious? It took me days to get any sleep.

The whole point of WILD is that you go from waking to dreaming without losing consciousness.
