      Question Dream Troubles

Hey, i'm new and well i wanted to post this as soon as possible.

Since the beginning of my school year, ive been trying to lucid dream, but for some reason, i haven't been dreaming at all lately. I don't know what's going on and why I haven't been able to dream so if anyone has any idea why this is happening and how I could fix this that would be great!

      Hello, and welcome to Dreamviews!

You're dreaming all right - the problem is that you aren't remembering them. The ability to remember your dreams is called dream recall, and there's a tutorial on it in the tutorial section. The tutorial lists many of the ways people remember their dreams, but from personal experience dream journals are the most effective. It's simple - just write down as much of your dreams as you can remember.

Also, be patient - it might take a week or two before you start steadily remembering your dreams.

Feel free to ask if you have any other questions.

also, you could be going through a dry spell. dry spells are when you either, for some inexplicable reason, cant remember your dreams or cant have lucid dreams.
I need my sleep. I need about eight hours a day, and about ten at night.

Yes, just as Wavefunction stated you dream every night, but the thing is you don't remember it. When you wake up in the morning or in the middle of the night try to think of the dreams you had and focus on them and try not to forget them. Good luck.

      Welcome Soar,

I'm sorry to hear about your dry spell. I have that problem too when I am busy and never get to sleep in. Could that be your problem? Is there a day where you can sleep in and really focus on your dreaming?

And as Wavefuntion mentioned try reading some of the tutorials on dream control and start a dream journal. Write even the littlest fragments that you can remember. You may find that helps motivate you to remember more.

      Good luck...
