      the forum for me?

Wow, how exciting to discover somewhere to vent my crazy dream experiences! My partner is tired of me heaping it all on him. Oh, and a forum that values grammar? It just gets better!
A little about my dreaming... I have always had very real, adventurous, colourful dreams; often I have super powers or am on missions. Over the last few years (at least) I have had what I believe are lucid dreams, where, once aware, I can control parts or the direction of my dreams, or rewind and replay something if I wish to change the course of a dream. I can mostly pick up where I left off from when awoken suddenly also. Until finding this site (just today), I hadn't realised that there was so much I could attempt, especially in terms of changing my whole environment. I would love to learn more about the senses in dreams, as smell and touch are very common and 'real' for me when I dream. Last night I dreamt that I plucked a small, soft animal from the air and was nursing it, patting it, and it was so real, I turned to show someone (not sure who) behind me what I could do. I was lucid and felt so amazed to have such 'power'. I do often experience the 'unraveling' of a dream when I try too hard to exert control. I have also had several dreams of communicating with deceased pets and loved ones. I may come and go from the forum, if that's okay - life, like my dreams, is unpredictable and busy; but I relish to opportunity to share my experiences with like minds and learn more about this dream world that I love!
One last experience to share: I once dreamt (lucidly) my entire morning routine, including making and eating breakfast, having a shower, etc - then I woke up and had to do it all over again...

Hahaha, your last sentance made me crack up.

Welcome to DV! It seems you have a lot of experience in Lucid Dreaming, and that is always a plus on the site! Make sure if you have any questions to ask them without hesitating and to check out the tutorial section for some quick how-to's!

      Have fun!

      moe on the furry animal

re the dream last night of nursing the small furry animal, I just recalled more. whilst LDing I asked (who?) to be able to do something that would prove that this was more than dreaming, that it was real - this is when the animal appeared and I picked it up, and showed it to (again, who?), to prove my ability/success. I was hugely excited - it was an affirmation. Of what, though, I'm yet to classify! If this doesn't make sense, my apologies - it's so hard put this stuff into (sensical) words!
