This happens to me when I've been doing pot, does that count?

Could you explain it more? So you feel like you're about to fall when you turn around in bed?

Oh never mind, I think I get what you mean. Like when you're about to fall asleep, then you randomly shake violently for a second, and feel like you just fell? Yeah, that happens to me all the time.

sometimes it happens to me yes. but instead of falling off the bed i feel like i am walking

I'm not 100% it's the same thing. But I have at times dreamt I was falling off a building or somewhere tall, causing me to feel like i'm free falling. I wake up immediately and feel like as if what just occured was real.

Yuck, I HATE it when that happens...(not really... ^__~)

It's called a Hypnic Jerk, and it happens when your really tired. I bet you everyone here at DV has had this happen to them.

Just yesterday as I was falling to sleep I suddenly felt as if I fell backwards through my bed, really fast. It was pretty cool.

Yeah, Ive often had the falling sensation when starting to drift off.

sometimes when my friends are over i hear it happen to them too
one time though instead of falling i saw an owl in a tree (in my mind) and it hooted really loud and right in my face and it gave me the same feeling

That's great! I love when that kind of thing happens too. It usually startles me awake but it's fascinating.

I used to spin and fall before I fell to sleep. Seemed to stop when I started having natural LDs.

i too have had this expirience, but it happens to me all the time...like i will be just lying in bed trying to get to sleep (still awake) and i will just jerk it is kinda wierd!

You don't have a history of epilepsy, do you?
And, maybe you should get more practice with descriptive writing!

I have many things like this. I've had that happen a few times and also when i'm sleeping ill all of sudden just jerk big time out of nowhere like i'm dodging a fast ball and all... Pretty weird, and I wake up like, "What the hell?" lol

It's got nothing to do with epilepsy. You're fine; everyone has this happen to them fron time to time.

I have this weird thing when im doing a wild attempt.. this happened to me alot of times. I get into sleep paralysis, laying on my back, completely still and relaxed. And then suddenly, out of nowhere, my two legs jump up in the air! Like 30 centimeter high. Some extreme twitch? No way I could pull this of even if I tried!! Both of my legs jump up in the air really fast! This is weird, why is this happening?
