Cool *inserts original/clever newbie topic title here*

Hey guys! I'm a high school student living in northern Florida, I like to read, make vids on YouTube, and play WoW (yeah, im a geek >_>) I just recently discovered what Lucid Dreaming was From what I can remember, I've had two LDs a couple years ago and I actually had one last night (sort of.. :-/) But up until the other week I never knew what they were called and that there were techniques, communities, books, websites, etc based around LDing.

So yeah, I'm a bit new at this. Mainly here to keep a DJ and read about other people's techniques and experiences. Last night's dream I tried to WILD but I definitely fell asleep during it and then DILD, I'll write about it in my DJ after I post this. IF anyone wants to give me some pointers that'd be great ^^

Alright, I'm done boring you now

      Hiya Powerpop.

Wow, you live in Florida, proves how cool you are. Florida's an awesome place to live. You play Wow too? Good to see a gamer.

Good to see you're interested in keeping a Dream Journal, they're the best way to increase Dream Recall, along with being the only way I know to increase Dream Recall.

Here's a good tip, if you can't be bothered to type up or write down your dreams, don't worry about it. Write down keywords about the dream so you will remember when you come back from the toilet or whatever.

And eat Chocolate moderately, it helps keep Lucidity!

Nice to meet you Powerpop and welcome to the community.

WILDs are hard, try DILDing for a while. Read the tutorials in the tutorial section. The ones about reality checks and dream signs on the home page too.
