      Ville - Strange Things

      Hi, i'm Ville from Portugal.

I found this forum when i saw the LD article at wikipedia, and it just fascinates me, because i've already had LD before, but not that much, i would say 5 at least. Normally i can make the gravity go away and jump like in the Counter Strike game without gravity.
But there's something that i can't explain what it is, i just know it ain't a dream!

Sometimes i'm in the bed, almost sleeping and my body stops reacting! it happens at least once a week...specially when i'm tired. The first time it happened i thought i was going to die, i tried screaming for my mom, but i couldn't. I've realized that if i stay calm i can leave this situation faster.

But latelly...this has gone way beyond. Sometimes when it happens, i have some sort of allutinations like floating above the bed, or leaving my body. It's very strange. But it doesn't stop in there...i have already had dreams while in this state, and they are usually very different from normal ones. Everything happens very fast normally. Sometimes i think my thumb is gonna blow... i can feel the blood rushing in its veins, and pumping like never before.

Once, i woke up thinking it was at the middle of the night, after dreaming, and it had only been 7 minutes since i got to bed!

I think all of these "allucinations" happen in the first 2-3 minutes of sleep.

Can anyone tell me what do i have? I'm beginning to get worried....

      ps:sorry for my bad english

Hey! You had Sleep Paralysis, and that's actually very normal, and is actually a part of WILDing (Wake Induced Lucid Dreaming). I personally haven't had any experiences like that because I am just starting, and have had no prior accounts of this happening. However, many people have the same sensations as you do. If you start to see hallucinations again, or have another OBE (out of body experience), then I think you are very close to dreaming and if you could relax, yet stay concentrated so that your body falls asleep and your body doesn't, you could have an awesome lucid dream!
