sorry if this has been posted 100 times already.. it's been on my mind all day. well here's my tale.
the last week i've been reading about lucid dreaming on this website, found it all really interesting. started keeping a dream journal but haven't actually attemped to LD. the last few nights i seem to be waking up after perhaps my first dream.. as it's only about 4 hours after i've gone to sleep. i know i've reached REM sleep because i can remember at least one dream.
last night i think i ACCIDENTLY came close to WILDing.. i woke up after my first dream, had to go to the toilet so i did and went back to bed. i'm not sure how long i was lying there but i could suddenly feel my whole body shaking, and i could hear it shaking.. somehow.. like it sounded like an earthquake.. it was REALLY intense, it was all too much for me so i tried to move and realised i could only slightly move my arms, if at all, and couldn't move my body at all. so i had to stick it out, at some point i remember hearing a sound, perhaps a voice, at that point i was completely freaked out and could feel my heart hammering, that seemed to be the end of it, i'm not sure if i fell asleep or woke up immediately but i do remember that the next time i opened my eyes it seemed as though my room was filled with.. fog i guess.. really thick fog. and the clock on the cd player on the other side of my room (which is not very bright at all) was really intense, you could see it shining through all the fog and the more i looked at it the brighter it got. and i also noticed that where ever i looked, i could see two small red dots.. as if my eyes were laser pointers. obviously i thought i must be in a dream so i did my reality test but it told me that i was awake? so not sure exactly what was going on.. the next thing i remember is turning on the light and everything was normal, and i was wide awake but a bit freaked out!
it's a bit hazy in my mind but that's what i wrote down when i woke up. i guess it wasn't really a LD but any comments would be appreciated. i found the "body asleep" phase very full on!
cheers.
