      New Here ;)

Hello, I guess that I will start from the beginning. 3 days ago I had never heard of lucid dreams, but 2 nights ago I had one. unfortunately shortly after I woke up. I was amazed how vivid it was and I decided that I wanted to have another. So I went online and found this site. If anyone can give me tips that would be great, thanks!

welcome to dreamviews. you definately came to the right site! =] i know i dont have many posts but i've been lucid dreaming for a while, and i know that this site is good for learning and discussing about lucid dreaming. my advice to you is to read all around the forums and read about the basics of sleeping and dreaming and eventually lucid dreaming, like dream recall. then, look at the tutorials section and see if there is a technique you're interested in trying tonight when u go to bed. =p hope i could be of some help.

It's common to have a lucid dream immediately after learning about it. Your dreams are made up of what intrigued your throughout the day and what needs to be written to memory. Lucid dreaming entered your mind because it was new, and that in itself made you lucid.

Hope you have more to come
