You just have to condition yourself to do a reality check around that dream sign. You might also want to start keeping a dream journal, it helps you see recurring pattern and such, which will help you get lucid.
Try this, it worked for me to end a dry spell, it might help you to start: Write RC on your wrist and whenever you see that throughout the day, do a reality check. You'll end up doing hundreds of them because you see your hand like every five seconds. It will put lucid dreaming on your mind and also help you get used to doing reality checks.
Make sure that you actually question your reality, don't just say "no, i'm not dreaming" Actually analyze where you are and how everything looks.
