      My First WILD Experience?

Hey everyone. I'm sort of a little confused so I'll give you a bit of a run down of myself first.

I've been researching LDs for about six months now but I've been into the idea of OBEs and the like for a few years. Over the last two or three days I've really been looking into WILDS (how they work and how to induce them) so last night I decided to give it a try.

I lay down and made up a method as I went along by combining several different methods I had read. But overall I just lay still in my normal sleeping position, chanted constantly and went with the flow.

After about... what felt like maybe 15 minutes I started to feel different. Like the room I was in wasn't right or had changed. Then, my body felt like it went into paralysis but I didn't want to check because I was so psyched about having a LD. After a little while longer my heart started to race and my arms started to twitch a little. Then I felt 'the shift' and I heard a ringing sound in my ears, at this point I chickened out and pulled myself out of it.

When I opened my eyes all my limbs were fully functional and my heart was still racing. I was still in shock a little so I had to get up and walk around the house a bit to pull myself together and then I went to bed normally.

I tried the same method again this morning, and the same thing happened. This time my heart was beating more intensely and I pulled out again .

I'm having trouble working out weather what I experienced were actually the hypnogogic sensations. It seems weird that someone with no LD experience, no practice and nothing like that could get this far so quickly and so easily. Not to mention as I was going to bed, not after a few hours of my normal sleep cycle.

So has anyone experienced this easy WILD induction before? Or was what I experienced not really a WILD? Any help will be much appreciated because I'm really quite confused.
      Cheers.

P.S. Does anyone have any tips for keeping relaxed. Because the buzzing in my arms and legs and the sound in my ears (sounds like microphone feedback almost) and ridiculously fast and hard heart rate is really intense and scary which is why I've been pulling myself out of it. It's the same feeling I get right before I pass out/come to in walking life.
