      Talking Lucidity before nightmares

Holaz! Hey there all, I'm new to try to have lucid dreams. I have had them before, when I was a kid. I would be in a long hallway about 10ft wide by 15 ft tall and I would start in the bottom right corner, then I would start to move up to the top left corner faster and faster until I reached the end and my nightmare would start. Everytime I saw myself at the begining of the hallway I would know that I was about to have a nightmare, I could never stop it, and it would happen every time and it was like "Oh great! Another nightmare, oh the joy (sarcasticly)" But once I got to the end of the hall, it wouldn't be lucid anymore! Ain't that weird!?!

That's happened to me sometimes; I'm lucid, but then I started getting nervous and afraid so then I lose my lucidity and start having a nightmare. I think the important thing to do here would be to try and keep your lucidity, just concentrate and focus on what you want to happen next in the dream (not having a nightmare).

I'm no expert of course, this is just what I would try to do.

A lot of kids have lucid dreams as the result of nightmares. That is how I got started.

Controling a dream can be really hard when you feel scared. That is probably why you could never stop the dream when you were a kid.

Anyway, to Dream Views! Everything you need to know to start your journey toward lucidity is here. If you need any help finding anything, just PM me. I'd be happy to point you in the right direction!
