      I can't get SP

First of all, I'm aware SP isn't necessary for WILDs. I just never reach SP. I can get to the stage where my arms and legs feel a little numb and heavy, my ears kind of pop and I hear a ringing but then I fall asleep. (or if I am trying when I first go to bed, which is often, my mind goes blank, then I suddenly realise I have been lying still for ages, I have no idea how long has passed but I feel pretty awake and like I haven't gotten anywhere, is this maybe a succesful WILD, but because I only just went to bed I'm not in REM or something? (so its not really succesful)).

I am trying to reach SP for the experience but have failed. I have WILDed (mostly only using DEILD) but never really managed to get close to not being able to move, I feel a little numb but I can allways move fine, it feels like I just woke up. I don't seem to get further than that (unless I fall asleep, into a LD or not).

      Any tips?

      Thanks in advance.

It is possible you have had false awakenings (FAs) -- believing you are actually awake when really you are just dreaming about being awake. Next time this happens do a couple of reality checks (RCs).

If you want to feel some superb SP I suggest being really tired. A WBTB in the middle of the night or early morning could do the trick. I personally have the best (or is it the worst?) SP when I sleep for about 4 hours, then get up for about 2 hours and clean (or do something physical). When I get back in bed I am dead tired. I lay there for a bit and then the SP starts up like fireworks on the 4th of July.

      Hope this helps you!

Although I don't do it everytime I have done a RC a few times and I am allways in reality

And thanks for the tip about the WBTB, I will try that, although doing something physical for 2 hours in the early morning could be a problem explaining to my parents, but I will figure something out
