      Hopefully a new Dreamer... ^^

Hi everyone out there. I found this site thanks to a great friend of mine. He is an amazing lucid dreamer, and has told me countless dream he's had throughout his life where he could fully control them. I get so excited and giddy just listening to his dreams. They're almost like fantasy stories where the best possible things that could happen, do! He flies, travels the universe, gains personal insight, and even get help for his daily problems. Well... I'm tires of being a listener. I wanna dream! =^_^= Hee! What I wouldn't give to live out my own wildest dreams and fantasies. To experience things with the level of reality he described. Oh... if there are any out there reading this, just know... I am SOO ready to learn this amazing ability for myself! Do whatever it takes! ^^

As for me... I already am a dreamer. I dream in my sleep, and sooooo much in the day. I let everyday object that seem to have little or no significance transform in my mind, and let my imagination run wild. I've done that ever since I was a child. He... you have NO idea how much fun a long wooden dowel can be! A sword, a wand, an arrow a device to change the very fabric of time itself! Yeah.. ^_^; I daydream a lot... That's why I wanna learn this so bad... to let those fantasies come to life, and let me explore them in ways I never thought possible!

So... I guess that's me in a nutshell. I am 19 years old, and I'm just dying to wake up in my dreams!! ^o^

      to Dream Views!

I suggest you start keeping a dream journal. This will help you have the best possible dream recall. Check out the "Tutorials" section for ideas and techniques.

Have fun aroud the site. There is a lot to do here! If you have any questions feel free to ask!

Welcome to DV. You'll find a great deal of support and information here. I agree with Seeker's initial suggestion to keep a journal. It's made a big difference in my dream recall, which is essential (how much would it suck to become a lucid dreamer, have all these wonderful dreams, and then not remember them?) Start doing Reality Checks (RC) whenever possible, I believe it's also essential to the LD experience. There's lots of posts here on that and other great topics. Reading the tutorials was also quite helpful to me. Good luck, and welcome!

Purrr.... I'm going to be leaving this Monday for a week long camping trip in the mountains... I don't know if there are any special suggestions or anything like that when you're out camping. Again, I will try writing in a dream journal... but.. if there is anything special I can do out there.. let me know!! ^^

I find that camping (or sleeping anywhere that is unfamiliar) can have a good effect on my LDs. Since I'm more aware of my suroundings as I sleep I wake up more, giving me plenty of oppertunities to record dreams in the night and chances to use MILD, DEILD, or WILD. I bet FILD would work, too.

Hey! I'm really new to all this also, but the reason I just now got really into it is because of my first really good LD and trust me once you have one it will boost your dedication to a whole new level : D. so good luck, hopefully both you and I will be LDers in no time
