Hello! My dreams are vivid and strange!

Hello all! I am 19 years old, I live at home with both my parents. I go to community college, where I am a photojournalism major. I am a pretty self conscious person, I tend to overthink alot of things, usually petty things from the past. I am pretty shy, I am definitely ocd about alot of things. And I smoke alot of pot. Now that my intro is out of the way.. I decided to join this forum because I have never met somebody that has dreams as strange as I do. My dreams are always extremely vivid and they feel so real. I will sometimes even get emotional due to a dream, and I often mistake stuff that has happened in past dreams, for reality. I often have strange recurring dreams, and I would like to get your opinions on them. I became interested with lucid dreaming, when I first watched Waking Life about 4 years ago. Although I am still yet to have a lucid dream. I always feel as if I have no control over what I am doing in my dreams, like I am watching a movie of myself or something. The closest that I have come to a lucid dream is when I will wake up from a good dream, and I will drift back to sleep and kinda half sleep, half imagine the rest of the dream, but it is never as real as when I am in deep sleep. Most of my dreams are so bizarre that I would consider them nightmares. I also have alot of trouble sleeping, I find my self staying up until 4 or 5 in the morning everynight, no matter how hard I try to get back to a normal sleeping pattern. I am hoping that this forum will help me control my dreams better, and possibly even help me with my horrible sleeping schedule. Sorry for rambling on, and thanks for listening! -Nicholas

You're not the Nicholas I know, are you? O_O I have a lot of weird dreams too, but his dreams are incredibly pwnsome by comparison, but ... You're a year older and talk like a completely different person, so yeah. It was just an interesting coincidence since I showed him this forum a while ago. Anyway, welcome aboard!
