My First Lucid Dream!!!!!!!

I had been practising visualisation, vivid imagery, and having attempts at lucid dreaming for the past 5 days. this morning using reverse blinking (credited to sythix), i was able to have a lucid dream!! although it was short and a nightmare (i ended up waking myself up from it by opening my eyes as if i was asleep), it was a spectacular experience and i thank all of you at this website for the help and a huge thanks goes out to sythix for his guides (there was alot of work put into them) peace.

I had my first Lucid dream about 5 days after i had been trying too, it also was very short, and i woke myself up because it was turning into a nightmare. But i was wondering what is visualization, vivid imager?

Congrats for your first LD! I dont know any of the techniques you mentioned it, where can I read about them?
