Hello all,

I am new to the forums, and so I just wanted to say hi and ask a quick question. I had a LD two nights ago, got excited about it, found this site, and did some research on LDs. It was the second LD I can ever remember having, and the first was probably 5-7 years ago. I am almost certain though, that I have had many more LDs, but I probably failed to remember than. I have a sub par memory as it is so I will be working on my dream recall through the use of a Dream Journal.

As far as my health question goes, I am just curious about how a WBTB affects one's normal day. From what I've read on the forums, it seems that a WBTB is one of the more common procedures for LDing. I am planning on attempting to get some more LDs using the WBTB method, and I just wanted to know if there were any healths concerns I should consider. More plainly, is it bad for one to make a habit of waking up after 5 hours of sleep and then getting in another 1.5-2 hours after? What are the effects? Are you more tired during those days? energized? or are there no noticeable effects? I realize these questions will be dependent upon the individual, just curious if there were any general health concerns.
