Talking Dreaming as a persona other than yourself?

hi, I r new person, hi everybody, etc etc XD
Well...I just woke up from what might have been the second lucid dream I had this summer. and I was wondering if this has ever happened to anyone else before. Have you ever had a LUCID dream in which you were a different person? As in someone other than who you are in real life? More specifically an anime character? LOL... (15 year old anime freak IRL... oh spare me) The dream that I had a while back was essentially the same as the one I had just now. It starts off as a regular dream, but it becomes a nightmare where all my options are taken away and I'm forced to do something impossible, which then ends up working, causing me to realize I'm dreaming. (at this point I usually fly up in the air with an obnoxiously dramatic declaration of "I'M IN A LUCID DREAM!" while pointing an accusing finger at my confused pursuer XD but I'm getting off topic.) In this first one, I was somewhat aware that I was in someone else's body and my personality even changed slightly. I was still able to think as myself though. When I became fully lucid though I wasn't able to stay asleep for long enough to experiment or think about this. I always wake up too soon...
To the best of my knowledge I hadn't been thinking about the character before I went to bed. Does anyone know why that might have happened? Or has anyone else ever had a similar experience? (and yes, before anyone tells me, I do realize I need to watch less cartoons XD)

      Hi to Dreamviews !

I get that all the time in my dreams, although its only happened once in a LD (when i was Dr House out of the American tv series, lol). However when i get this I also see myself/my character in the 3rd person.

Apparently to fix this you have to imagine your real self walking through a door or from behind a corner. Then try and metamorphose yourself into your character and their view point. I haven't tried it but apparently it works well.

      Hope this helps !
