Helloo from Cape Town SA! (:

Hi there! My name's Matt...Like the title says, I'm from cape town south africa! (any others from dowwwwn south on here?)

Ive been interested in lucid dreaming on-and-off for about four years now,
but never had the determination to pursue it wholeheartedly until now.
I've had numerous dream journals, but they've always been at the back of other books, but I'm glad to say I have a dedicated one now!

I haven't had an LD yet, at least not fully lucid, but with everything I've read on this forum so far (by far the most helpful source I've found!) I'm sure my first proper LD is just around the corner.

What i find strange is how much more information seems to be available
recently... Is it just me? or was I just really crap at googling before?

      ok, ok. Long introduction.
gosh i can babble. But hi!

I'm glad you found our forum to be the best!

Yep, there are some other South Africaners here. Ask around and I'm sure you will find them!

I reccomend checking out the acronym list here if you haven't found it already. The Tutorials section is under construction right now, but all the old tuts are still there.

If you have any questions, ask away!

Welcome! I remember you from my photography thread! Any luck on finding fosas? haha

I had a pretty similar experience to you... once I knew about lucid dreaming (after I had my first one) I googled it and didn't manage to find any information 4 years later I found a copy of Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming by Stephan LaBerge, and a year later I found my way on to Dreamviews!

It sounds like you made a major find, Dreamviews has helped me have 41 lucid dreams just since April! There are a lot of great members and a lot of fantastic information on here. I think you're right, keep it up and you will be LDing in no time
