It is true that most people (who sleep 8 hours a night) spend one third of their life asleep. I find it sad that many of those people don't think they dream because they don't remember any of them!

There is pretty much anything you can do in a LD. I like to use them as mini-vacations. If you are looking for inspiration check out the dream journal section, or even the Task of The Month competition. There are tons of examples of great lucids there!

I can reel of a whole speech on the joy of lucidity, but really the motivation needs to come from inside of yourself. Read about what others have done then look inside for the excitement and hunger that will help you stick with it!

I'd recommend creating a "To-Do" list of all the fun things you want to do in a dream. Then get on youtube or similar sites, and just spend a while watching videos of your dream goals. Think about how much better your experience will be, how you'll modify whatever it is they are doing, etc. Watching clips and movies like that always gets me pumped to LD

Checking out other people's dream journal (especially the lucid ones) always gets my motivation back. Go try that.

Thank you everyone! I will try everything mentioned. I remember using most of these methods and 2 that were a big help was reading lucid experiences and youtubing things such as illusions. once again, thank you!
