      Hello all

I've recently got into the whole technical way for lucid dreaming, and so far I'm loving it. Just last night I implemented my first reality check, and the ways to get it more vivid.

I'll start off with what I can already do.

I have also always been ably to wake my self up sometimes not even on purpose, all i do is open my eyes and they open in real life waking me.

Flying is the easiest thing ever for me, its also a good dream sign since its in almost all of my dreams and I control it so well.

I've had I'm sure at least 10 lucid dreams in my life but usually years apart.
But since looking up ways to control lucid dreams and getting to that state, I've had 2 inside of a week!!

Last night I put too use The clock reality check after I was lucid and aware of my surroundings, the clock had like 12 decibels to it which I thought as very funny. I started of rubbing my hands together but they were numb feeling, but i helped a little bit. I also did the tongue on the roof of my mouth which also helped. I also tried dream spinning but i got dizzy and nearly fell over. Before I knew it I was having the most vivid dream of my life. !!! sweet. After about 10 minutes of trying things my dreams captured me and I fell from lucidity.

This is about all I can tell you about me and lucid dreams so far but I'm hopping I'll learn more fast.

to Dreamviews and congratulations on finding that you can do it so easily. Seems like you can fly very easily, that's usually a tough one for some people. I'm sure that you will have many more to come and you can check out the tutorials section for more information on what you're doing. (The technique you are using now is called DILD)

      Cool thanks for the support.
The one thing that i have a problem with is that I can so easily wake my self up that some times I do it on accident .

One of the techniques to do in a dream is to close one's eyes then open them to reveal things like a different location or to make things appear. But I'm afraid that when I open my eyes I'll do it in real life which I have done before and its gets really annoying.

Do you have any thoughts on different ways to do this that doesnt involve the eyes?

I'm the same, I try to never close my eyes in a dream because usually when I open them, I am back in the real world. Make sure whenever this happens though that you do a reality check, but you may actually be in a false awakening!

Changing dreamscapes and summoning people and objects relies mainly on CONFIDENCE. As long as you are 100% sure that something is going to work when you do it, it will work. So there are literally infinite possibilities to changing environments, summoning objects, and summoning people! No matter what you do, just remember that it is a dream, and be sure of yourself, and it should work.

Anyway here are some common ways that people change dreamscenes:

Open a door and expect the new scene to be on the other side.
Magnetic Method: not sure who came up with this one, I have never used it but basically you imagine that your destination is a magnet, and that it is pulling you toward it. So you sort of end up flying and being there.
Climb into a poster or photograph, just expect the poster of where you want to be to be on the wall!
Climb into a mirror (same as ^)
TV: change channels until you see the scene you like, then climb right in!

      Summoning:

Open a door, expect the person/object to be on the other side (I've never done this, but if I ever do I'm going to go DING-DONG! first so that I'm sure someone is on the other side ringing a doorbell...)
Reach into your pocket, expecting the thing you want to be in there. Remember, even huge items can fit into dream pockets!
Expect the person to be behind you, or tapping you on the shoulder
