My first Lucid Dream!!! Yay

this was a couple days after i started getting into lucid dreaming. so i fell asleep in the middle of the day and i was looking at the one dream i have written down. this is the dream anyway... i was at school, and i was on the ground and everyone was looking at me. my friend and i walked into the gym and he told me that he was dreaming. i said that i was too! so i told him to think of the hottest girl in school. and for some reason, he chased this chicken out of a closet. i laughed cause it turned out that it was a guy. so then i saw the bleachers and decided to try and jump to it.(just like you said that you had mad hops on your dream) sure enough i jumped all the way up it. when i jumped down, i felt myself losing lucidity, so i stopped for a second and concentrated on what i was doing. but I couldnt help it. i Woke up, thinking that i did in real life. all my funiture was moved around. so i got up looking for my cell phone and i couldent. i then realized an angel outside of my window. it wasnt scary or anything. i left my room for just a second to tell my mom to come fast and when i got back there was no angel. i felt that i wanted to wake up now. so then i like was hitting myself or something. i finally woke up in a dream again. i thought for sure that this was real. so i look outside and there is this huge helicopter. it wasnt weird to me at all. so i saw this toy helicopter in my room so i picked it up and started spinning the prop. and the big one started spinning too. it was like one of those dolls that you poke with needles. so i still could not find my cell phone. i ran into my garage and found my mom and my sister and her boyfriend. they were getting married i guess. so i told my mom that i had a lucid dream for the first time. and then my mom called me from downstairs and thats when i really woke up. i slept through two text messages on high. This dream felt soo!! real when it happened. i am so glad that I just experienced this.

Wow! Congratulations on your first LD! FAs (false awakenings) are really common with lucid dreaming. It is cool that you realized you were still dreaming even when you thought you had just "woken up."
