      Hello,Im just registered.

Well, yesterday,on another board, some ppl talked about lucid dreaming and what it is. I never heard of it before or knew it is possible,so i googled around and found some sites "not this one"with tuturials and information about it.

I read about it yesterday late ngiht ,so a little bit before i gone to bed. The tuturial mentioned imagine a spot between the eyes on the forehead and concentrate on it,while repeating all over in your mind"i will have a lucid dream and will rememebr it". So i did this and now comes the part, that im not sure what it is or if it has anythign to do with lucid dreaming etc.

Well i was "staring" at the colors on the spot on my forehead and repeasted the sentence and after a while it was weird,my whole body was feeling numb, dead or nonexistent..even though i knew it was still there. It was liek if my head and mind was in colour and very active and the restr of my cbody was just grey and nonactive at all. dunno....exept,of my arm, which kinda felt liek if it would have fallen asleep,it has a VERY light tingle feeling, but when i moced it,it felt totally normal. But other then this, nothign else happened...my wife snorred, that kidna distracted me.

So today i checked more on this subject and found this site, and the board and regitered.

I started a Dreamlog today and wrote down the 3 dreams i can rememebr good and made jsut notes of the other two, that i barely remember.

The problem i have is that i really cant fall asleep fast. My wife needs max 5 minutes and is gone..i sometime lay 3-4 hours in bed before i can fall asleep. Im sure it doesnt make LD easier....though the mentioned thing yesterday happend quiet fast (5-10 minutes)..which was kidna intresting.

Well i will continue to get a better routine and keep my DJ.
Just wanted to say hi here..so if i need any advise ,i can post it here and you gyus know a little bit about myself.

      Hi thar FordBronco!

It looks like you've been trying to do a WILD. It's interesting, I know of few people who have got that far in first try! Well done! :aphiusizcrazy:

I'm the same with not being able to fall asleep, and I don't know of a...err, cure (is that the right word?) for it. Maybe somebody else could help?

Anyway, again, welcome, and I hope we at DV can help improve your skills!

      welcome to dreamviews

Yeah, that does sound like a WILD. you were somewhat close. I really suggest you try that in the morning when you first wake up all groggy and refreshed. It will work better and most likely fall asleep faster

ALso if you're having trouble sleeping, then i suggest taking melotonin. its completely safe and i heard that it helps in having lucid dreams. Check it out. I htink there's tutorials about it here.
