Demon-dreams and inorganic beings

Lucid dream experts like fredirik van eeden speaks of demon-dreams and C. Castaneda, of evil inorganic beings. im new to LD and very interested in it but the talk of scary stuff (such as non human entities or sumthin ofthe sort) kind of freaks me out. ive never had a lucid dream encountering frightening entities, but i fear that if i continue LD, theres a possibility of meeting them... this is the only thing that prevents me from trying to LD. i wish i can just always dream of the good stuff -the bright, lovely side of lucid dreams. any motivation, reassurances or positive words from u dream experts (that think LD is soooo fun!) wud be NICE.

Thats what LDing is for! Well...one of its many uses. Facing your fears and facing your demons. Many people use LDing to conquer thier nightmares. YOu can ebcome lucid...see demons and laugh becuase they are in your world. You can kick them off the planet or befriend them or just fly away. Welcome to DV btw. Is that it? you have nothing to fear then. Like gameover said, just kick their asses. Its your dream and your in control and you can do anything. ANYTHING. you can kill them many ways. ignite them on fire, stab them, send them to a different dimension, etc. etc. Besides they are not all that bad. just other day i battled a witch in my lucid dream and it was really fun even though i lost(although i suspect i lost lucidity or was low-level luicid). She didnt harm me though. As soon as she found out i was the son of the king who she used to love, she broke down and started crying (dont ask) so you see? sometimes they could be great dueling buddies as long as you know that you are in control and its just a dream. They cant actually hurt you.

Welcome to Dream Views! Evil DCs are pretty easily beaten for most people. Even if you can't beat them, they can't harm you in any way. At the very worst they can make you wake up. Unless, of course, you believe that there can be actual entities in your dream. Even then, I've had evil DCs bite my face clear off, cut me in half, or occasionally lose to me. In the end, I've never been hurt by it. Only angry that I woke up and that I didn't have enough control at the time to beat the stupid things. I've never heard of anyone being harmed from an LD either. In other words, I doubt you have anything to fear at all.

(Stupid knowledge to dissipate her fear of evil inorganic beings: the entire premise behind IB's is that they don't become evil unless you intentionally encounter them dozens of times. Even then, they aren't evil in a sense because they simply want to trick you into their world, and I am not going to explain that ) Good quote for this: "Believe you can, believe you can't. Either way you're right."
