      Another newbie

      It's been suggested to me to introduce myself, so, here goes

      Hello, I'm Skybly, a 23 year old web developer from Germany. I don't think I've ever had any lucid dreams, but I did have two experiences with sleep paralysis. The first lies one or two years back and I described it here. The other one was more recent (two or three months ago?) and actually quite unspectular, I just suddenly woke up with a really loud buzzing/whooshing sound in my ears, feeling very light but unable to move. It was over after only a couple of seconds.

      Now yesterday I heard that these sounds are a precursor of lucid dreams for some people, so I started investigating a bit and Google sent me here. I'm quite intrigued and would love to learn how to have lucid dreams myself. So, I'm looking forward to reading your about your tips and experiences

      sorta yea. those sounds are a sign to some people that they are about to fall asleep or enter their dream, or perhaps do an OBE/astral project, not sure

      good luck with the LD's. Take a look at the tutorials if you havent already

      yeah, those sounds can be signs that youre about to enter the dream state. ive heard distinct sounds of drum rolls, helicopter, music, etc... pretty cool actually
      when your dreams turn to dust, vacuum.
