      Freaked Out

Please forgive the length of this. It's kinda long. The dream starts out with me finding a black cat I own miles away from my home. He's an indoor cat named Shadow we don't allow outside. I pick him up and start walking home with him in my arms. He's constantly squirming trying get down. Finally, he looks at me and says something in a strange language I obviously don't understand. A lady I have never met comes up to me and gives me a harness to put on him so he can walk. Right at that moment, he urinates on me and yet I didn't let him go. So I put the harness on him and he seems like he's almost smiling. Then I'm trying to find my way home, but noticed there are no roads or paths, I'm just surrounded by yards and houses. That's when I notice it's now my 7-year-old daughter in the harness and she's in a nightgown. I keep up my search for home while at the same time holding on tightly to the harness. We end up going thru a strangers house to get to a street outside and a girl who was in the house gets mad and tells a couple of male family members what I did. They threaten me with bodily harm unless "I pay a toll". I manage to escape by giving them a driver's license with an old address and we make it home. Now, at this point, I thought I woke up and was standing in the kitchen crying and telling my wife about it. But then I flash to a prison or concentration camp with high cement walls. It was dark with searchlights and sirens going off. People were trying to climb over the walls and there were riot police and mechwarriors on the other side keeping them in. The last thing I remember before waking up is my daughter climbing the wall, nearly over the top, because she was following a cat. I was so scared because for some reason I thought there was some iminent danger outside those walls. This time I really woke up crying and disoriented. For some reason it scared the heck out of me. Anyone got any feedback? I can't stop thinking about it, especially that last part.

It's only a dream. I've had some dreams that disturb me but the feeling only stays for a few minutes after I wake up. Just got to shrug it off.

All joking aside, We really can't stress enough that it is simply a dream, and although I'm agnostic, it's very unlikely that dreams can be omens of things to come. We all have dreams like this, and I can uderstand your concern for your family, but the important thing is to remember that it IS just a dream.

Do you want someone to try to interpret this dream? If so let me know and I'll move it where it should get interpreted!

Wow, thats quite a dream ! What an imagination! My dreams are kinda similar sometimes and I imagine crazy yet complex and rich ideas like the stuff you described. I understand why you freaked out! The bad part with having a good imagination is the possibility of very scary nightmares...
