Need advise and feedback regarding my last night

Since i signed up here on the board,im keeping my dream journal updated every day. The last couple of nights,i didnt rememebr so much anymore (only like 1 pages in the journal..when i started it was around 3 pages) so before i went to bed,i started saying in my mind that it will remember my dreams when i wake up over and over. I got woken up by my cat,jumping on my back..it was around 5 am. After the first confusion was gone,i was remembering if i can remember my dreams...but there was nothing i could remember at all...which was really weird. So i tried to go back to sleep and then the first weird dream happens. I was dreaming something about my time in the military and i wanted to shoot with a rifle but the silencer (dunno why i had one) was closed and nothing happened..then after 3 or 4 times,it exploded and i was able to shoot....but of course the 100 enemys in the forrest ahead of me,saw and heard my shot and tried to exchange bullets with me. Then suddenly i was saying "Hey..this is a dream i cant die or get hurt" and i stand up and see one bullet going to my stomach. That wasnt that bad,but what the REALLY uncomfortable thing was,i had a REALLY loud beeping sound in my head,which got louder and louder and i mean really loud. I have a very light tinitus (the beeping in the ear) and it sounded like this,but MUCH stronger..also it felt like when you have a headache or a hangover,when you hear something really loud..it feels like your whole head is vibrating. Well,thats how it felt ...in the dream i wanted it to go stop,but nothing happend. Then i thought that maybe this is the entry to a LD or something and normal ..but it got so loud and it was scaring me and i wanted to wake up and I did...the sound gradually got quiter and eventually dissapered. When i woke up,i couldnt move for a couple of seconds...must be the sleep paralysis. That was not a nice experience at all,but still i was thinking if i had a LD or not. The sound happend 2 or 3 more times in other dreams,which made me awake again....i remember in one i was falling down a skyscraper...not aware that im in a dream. Then the last one was TOTALLY different..there was no sound there ..it was just like a normal dream. But i dont know when exactly,but i suddenly knew it was a dream..i think figured it out before in this dream,but forgot it again. Well anyways when i was aware of it, i didnt made a reality check at once becasue i was in a dark grey empty room,without windows and i wanted to go to a nicer sunnier room. I was thinking that this room gets nicer,but nothing happened. So i tried to rememebr what i read about LD etc and i was thinking that when i walk through this door,theres a sunny nice warm room there. So i walked through there and indeed,a nice summer afternoon and a warm sunny room waited me. At this time i was like wow and did a reality check I moved my hand into the other one and it worked..i could grab through my own hand. My hands looked ok,but my finger were kidna blurry/misty only sometimes solid objects. I did the same reality check later that dream with same results also another one at the end,when i moved my hand into my tummy. Anyways then there was my wife..even though she didnt looked like her..dunno was weird. Anyways at this time everything looked blurry, unsharp and i rememebr thinkign to myself why all the ppl on the board here were so exited about this,becasue it doesnt even come close to reality. But then i walked around the room and it suddenly became sharp,crips and extreme real. I would say,that in all my other dreams,i was watching it a a small 15" TV,this dream suddenly turned out to be like a Plasma TV. Well maybe because i rememebr it more and it was much more intense,but well the blurring was gone and the erotic part starts here. I dont know why it was a sexual dream..I actually planned to fly a jet in my first dreams,that i can control...but even though i had control over the enviroment, it still was like the dream still had main control about what the mainplot is. I also remember only the voice of my wife and mine...but anything else was totally quiet,which really bugged me so i was was thinking of some music...some seconds later i heard the gipsy kings playing ...soudned like a neighbour listening to them loud. Dunno why all this latino ambiente..my wife is latina,so that may be the reason. Thats pretty much it..i think a train or something disrupted the dream,because the whole time i was thinking i hope i dont say something in my dreams or make noises and my wife hears them. I thought i was able to hear the sounds outside my windows in the dream and feel me laying in the bed,while still being in the dream. Oh yes and i think for a second i had a fake awakening,becasue i rememebr for a second that i woke up on the wrong side of the bed ..and then i woke up on correct side. In the dream,everything felt empty around me. i mean there were no ppl ,onyl the two of us and it felt liek there is no one else in the world. A weird feeling. Ok then i woke up and remebered my whole dream..i was sleeping for an hour or so,so the dream wasnt that long. I told my wife about it,becasue she can LD and shes not jealous at all,so no hard feelings there. She told me it soudned like a LD..but didnt know what the loud sound was i heard earlier the night. Im still very confused and also skeptiacl if i had a LD with some dream control. Is it possible,to dream that you know youre dreaming..but its just a normal dream? Anyways,it was a very intresting night for me and i hope you guys can advide and feedback if this really was a LD and maybe what or why i heard the loud noise in my head. Thanks for reading this.

Is it possible,to dream that you know youre dreaming..but its just a normal dream?[/b] Yes, that is possible, but rare. Anyway you had a lucid dream, definitly. Also about the clarity of dreams. Sometimes your dreams will look like less real than reality, OR real as reality, OR more real than reality. Its usually the first two, but if you're lucky, you'll get a dream thats like the last one. EDIT: oh yeah..about the sound. Well not sure on that. I have before experienced EXTREME mental pains during my lucid dreams and they did hurt quite a lot. I felt like i was being possessed forcibly. Anyway, to put it simple, i have no idea what that was. You should try experiementing with it if it happens again. Like say focusing all that energy/pain into a ball in between your hands and shooting it at something. try medidating in your dream as well. Or feel extremely relaxed. go to the beach, or some beuatiful scenery.

Hey, fill in as many details as you can when you write. I enjoy reading about everyones adventures. Sadly though, I don't have as much time as I would like! I know what you are saying about the PLasma TV vs 15 inch! It is amazing the sense of clarity that happens to us!

It IS possible to know that it's a dream and still carry on more or less normally--I've done that. Sometimes it just doesn't occur to me to change anything. Loud beeping noise...well if it's a sound you normally hear, you may have been experiencing it in real life, and it just came through in your dream in a distorted way. I've had that sort of thing happen to me. Like my left arm will start really hurting for no reason, and when I wake up I'll find I've been sleeping on it wrong. (On a side note, I've had the opposite happen too...been hurt in a dream and woke up to find myself still hurting for a minute or two, without an apparent cause.)
