First lucid dream experience

Hi everyone Two weeks ago I read about lucid dreaming for the first time and I was interested in it immediatly. After a few days I found this site and I liked from the first moment on how it differentiated from most of the other websites who wanted to tell me something about spirit and soul and god and whatever before I would be able to get to know the big secret of lucid dreaming. But here It looks like i've found a forum with cool people who are also interested in ld. Just today morning, after two weeks of practise and research, I had my first lucid dream, as I woke up at 6 am and started sleeping just about 2 or 3 mins later, and whatever technique this was, i stood next to a street light in our street and I was absolutly shure that this was a dream. I just jumped of the ground and started to fly to the city. At First I was very surprised that I did not wake up, because i've read often that the excitement can easily wake up one when he experiences his first lucid dream. allthough i felt great because I did it now, i stayed in the dream world. The second thing that really amazed me was how much might I had about the dream, I could imagine that it would be cool to walk through my own dreams with full consciousness, but I did not expect to be able to change the hole scene around me. I even could move the sun by pointing with my finger on it and moving it to make it night. Thanks for anyone who posted his or her techniques and tips here, it really helped me to get it a good start. Thorim
